The pathologies that are included within the group of parasomnias are described as various behavioral disorders during sleep. A collection of bizarre behavior, unintentional and annoying, that happen during sleep and that can cause termination.

These abnormal behaviors include walking, speaking and all compulsive movements. There is no precise prescription drug treatment. The parasomnias are divided, according to sleep phase in which they appear, in disorders of arousal and REM sleep disorders.
