is repeatedly interrupted during the night. When a person has sleep apnea, the airways become narrowed or blocked, making it difficult for air to enter the lungs. As a result, brief pauses in breathing called apneas occur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These pauses can last from a few seconds to more than a minute and may be repeated many times during the night. As a result of apneas, the affected person does not receive enough oxygen, which can have a negative impact on their health and well-being.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, it is important to remember that sleep apnea is treatable.
